Recently I sat down with the editor and owner of a Christian newspaper. We discussed many different topics but when we hit on one that was close to my heart, I really got going. You know John Dobbs is an interesting guy. I would say that no one would even know about this place if it were not for him. He has a wonderful heart and a great sense of humor. Humor is no where to be found today. He lost his son two days before his graduation. A terrible accident on a strip of highway in Louisiana. I grew up attending a church that stressed that faith was more than just words, it was actions. They talked a lot about the fact that it couldn't be faith only and they used James 2:24. Okay, but it also seems that they used that more to argue theology than anything practical or connected to the text. In context the verse is talking about actions that help those without.
